How to apply for an Overseas Event

You have read about an overseas event and you think you’d like to go, what happens next

• Contact your regional events and international co-ordinator for more information about the event or download an application form by clicking here.
• Let the events and international coordinator know as she will need to arrange for interviews with your district coordinator, regional co-ordinator and herself.
• The information about the event will have a closing date at the National Office. You must begin the process at least three weeks before this date to allow time for the interviews to take place and your application to be sent to the National Office by the events and international co-ordinator.
• Complete the form, including a pen portrait of yourself and a photo of yourself in uniform (this often takes a while to organise, so get on with that right away).
• Prepare yourself for your interview and hope you get accepted!
